PM Modi to attend Diamond Jubilee celebrations of Supreme Court on Jan 28

New Delhi: To mark the “75 years of the Supreme Court of India’, a function has been organized on Sunday which will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a chief guest.

The Diamond Jubilee year will be celebrated at the additional building complex auditorium.

The Inaugural address will be delivered by Modi followed by a speech by Chief Justice of India D Y Chandrachud.

The event is organised mainly to showcase the launch of e-initiatives which the Supreme Court has recently taken.

The Apex Court has digitized the entire system and will showcase the functioning of its new website, Digital Courts, and digital Reports among other initiatives to speed up the legal system. It will be shared with the PM.
