Kolkata: Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari on Monday accused the ruling Trinamool Congress of establishing “Jungle Raj” in West Bengal.

Taking to twitter, Adhikari said, ” Another mysterious death of a @BJP4Bengal Karyakarta in Purulia district. ”

” The Regional TMC Party has established “Jungle Raj” in WB. Even the Janjatiyas and people belonging to the SC, ST & OBC communities are not being spared, ” he alleged.

” Shri Bankim Hansda, a member of the ST Community, who happened to be a Booth Level General Secretary of the BJP in the Manbazar-II Block of the Purulia district, went missing when he stepped out of his home, to campaign for the upcoming Panchayat Elections. His body has been found now, and it’s clear as the daylight that he had been murdered by the TMC goons, ” Adhikari stated.

” Unfortunately Mamata Police is reluctant to find the truth as it would indict the ruling party leaders, ” Adhikari further alleged.

” We don’t expect the officials of the Boro PS; Purulia Police District to conduct an impartial investigation, he said and demanded that the CBI should be handed over the case for a proper investigation.

The body of 45-year-old BJP worker Bankim Hansda, a member of the ST Community, who happened to be a Booth Level General Secretary of the party in the Manbazar-II Block of the Purulia district, was found in a paddy field near his house.

Hansda went missing when he stepped out of his home to campaign for the coming Panchayat election.
