Turkey’s earthquake death toll rises to 5,894: Vice President

Ankara: Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay said on Wednesday that the death toll from the deadly earthquake in Turkey has risen to 5,894, and almost 35,000 people were injured.

“At the moment, we have 5,894 dead and 34,810 injured,” Oktay told reporters.
