UK Parliamentary delegation calls on VP Dhankhar

New Delhi: A parliamentary delegation from the UK, led by Baroness Verma and Lord Karan Bilimoria, called on Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar today during which they discussed business and people-to-people ties.

The Vice President’s Office in a tweet said:

“A parliamentary delegation from UK, co-led by Baroness Verma & Lord Karan Bilimoria called on Hon’ble Vice President, Shri Jagadeep Dhankhar today.

Discussion touched upon historical, business & people-to-people ties as they resolved to take India-Great Britain relationship to greater heights.”

A delegation of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on India (Trade & Investment) comprising of British Parliamentarians had on Monday met Foreign Secretary Vinay Mohan Kwatra to advance bilateral trade and investment ties.
