60% Americans inspired by celebrities in tough times, 52% consider parents as role-models

In the USA, 60% of the people take inspiration from celebrities while going through trying times, and follow the steps taken by them in their own lives. They are of the opinion that if the celebrities can fight the troubles in their lives, then so can they. These 60% also believe that following celebrities results in them succeeding in their lives as well. These statistics have emerged after a survey was recently conducted on more than 2000 Americans, aged above 30 years.

These people decide their goals after getting inspired by celebrities, additionally, 41%, after becoming successful, give credits to and thank celebrities they were inspired from and followed. On the other hand, 52% of Americans believe that their parents are their role-models. 44% of the survey participants believe that the biggest obstacle towards success is a lack of enthusiasm. 39% consider time barriers to be the biggest obstacle.

Another 38% opine that confidence barrier is the major impediment, and 49% think that a lack of ability is the biggest obstacle. 43% of the people, who do not want any limits in their lives, want to become successful entrepreneurs.

While some want to become a chef, inspired by Gordon Ramsay, others want to become painters like Georgia O Keefe, and some others aspire to become actors like Leonardo Caprio. Nikola Tesla inspires Americans to become a scientist, and they get inspired to help others from Mother Teresa.
