Govt’s demonetisation of Rs 2000 notes vacillate decision: Sharad Pawar

Kolhapur: State opposition leader and Nationalist Congress party (NCP) senior leader Ajit Pawar said central government led by prime minister Narendra Modi’s Friday’s decision to demonetisation of Rs 2000 notes as vacillate decision and such decision had not taken by any earlier government.

Talking with reporters after a inauguration function of a new hotel at New Vashi Naka of the city Saturday afternoon, Mr Pawar severely criticised yesterday’s demonetisation decision taken by RBI, said after the ‘note bandi’, goverment had brought Rs 2000 currency note and now demonetisation these notes however he cleared that if this decision was benefit of the country we would support it but the manner in which the central government was taking decisions, has not been taken by any government so far.

Mr Pawar said where was going state’s politics was of a contemplation subject and now ‘Traitor and 50 Khoke’ words were agree with state’s people’s and it was need to self-analysis by ruling politicians while some politicians were trying to create crookedness between casts to turn the attention from increasing inflation and unemployment.

He said states’ financial position totally worsened in Shinde-Fadnavis government, which stopped development works during Maha Vikas Aghadi government regime and Karnataka people’s have shown as no one came with taking ‘Tamrapat’.
