Truth can be harassed but not defeated, says Mukesh Agnihotri

Una (HP): Truth can be troubled but not defeated, and ultimately, truth wins, said Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri while addressing a press conference in the context of the Supreme Court verdict in favour of senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday.

He said while Rahul Gandhi has got relief from this decision of the Supreme Court, on the other hand, crores of people in the country have more faith in justice.

Mukesh Agnihotri said this decision of the Supreme Court will have far-reaching positive consequences for building a healthy democracy in the future.

He said due to political vendetta, those who tried to oust national-level leader Rahul Gandhi from democratic politics under a conspiracy should also understand from this decision that this country is run by a democratic system and law should be followed here.

He said the decision of the Supreme Court in favour of Rahul Gandhi is a victory for democracy and the law.

The Deputy Chief Minister congratulated the national leader of the Congress party, Rahul Gandhi, as well as the top leadership of the party on the arrival of this Supreme Court decision.
