Just a day after the district of Jalore in Rajasthan was broken to give birth to the new district of Sanchore, heavy firing in broad daylight in the day-old district has rocked the people of not only Sanchore, but all of Rajasthan. It was today only that the inauguration of Sanchore’s new district-hood took place. While the place became a district on Monday morning, in the evening of the same day, people there were taken aback with a gang-war.

This gang-war has resulted in the murder of an alcohol contractor in broad daylight, after which the attackers fled the scene. As per the police, the crime took place on the Tharad Road, near Char Rasta, which happened after two groups at loggerheads with each other, opened fire. The alcohol contractor who lost his life because of the animosity has been identified as Lakshman Devasi.

The police have said that the incident took place at around 5 in the evening, but by the time the police reached the spot after receiving information about the same, the culprits had already escaped. And even though the police personnel arranged a blockade in the whole area, the culprits could not be nabbed. Currently, police teams are involved in getting hold of the murderers, and in figuring out the unknown reasons of the gang-war.
