Gorakhpur: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday directed the officials to provide permanent housing to all the needy people who have not yet got it by bringing them under the ambit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana or CM Awas Yojana.

Listening to the problems of around 200 people at the Janata Darshan held in front of Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan at Gorakhnath temple, Yogi instructed officials to make proper arrangements for medical treatment of the people by getting Ayushman cards made. “Funds will be made available from the CM discretionary fund To those suffering from serious diseases and not having a card,” he said.

He went to all the people, who were seated on chairs, and listened to their issues one by one patiently. He assured them that all their problems will be resolved in a timely, transparent and satisfactory manner.

One of those women narrated to the CM the problems her family was facing in the absence of a house. Responding to this, the CM immediately directed the officials to look at the problem of the woman sensitively and ensure provision of a house to her under PM Awas Yojana or CM Awas Yojana.

On complaints of land grabbing, he said that strict legal action should be ensured in such cases. He also directed officials to take effective action on issues related to revenue and police. He said that officers should always keep public welfare works on priority and ensure prompt resolution of the problems of every victim.

Yogi assured the people seeking financial help for treatment that funds will not be an obstacle in completion of treatment. He directed the officials to complete the estimation process on priority and make it available to the government so that the government can provide full financial assistance for treatment.
