Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President and former Minister K T Rama Rao (KTR) asserted that the residents of Malkajgiri have played a pivotal role in facilitating the appointments of Revanth Reddy to the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) and Chief Ministerial positions.
Addressing a gathering during the nomination event of BRS Malkajgiri candidate Ragidi Lakshmareddy, KTR emphasized that Malkajgiri had bestowed significant support upon Revanth Reddy, leading to his political ascendancy.
He cautioned Revanth Reddy against any actions detrimental to the welfare of Malkajgiri’s populace.
“In the previous elections, Revanth Reddy secured victory in Malkajgiri by a narrow margin. The people of Malkajgiri are the cornerstone of his elevation to PCC and CM posts,” KTR remarked, urging Revanth Reddy to refrain from neglecting the interests of the region.
KTR lambasted Revanth Reddy’s alleged unfulfilled promises and labelled him as a “small-time cheater,” contrasting him with Prime Minister Modi as the “big cheater above.”
He criticized Revanth Reddy’s election pledges, including loan waivers and financial assistance, questioning their implementation.
Furthermore, KTR highlighted the developmental achievements during former Chief Minister KCR’s tenure and criticized the BJP’s track record in Hyderabad and Telangana.
He underscored the need for voters to distinguish between the political alliances and asserted BRS’s commitment to countering the BJP.
KTR rallied support for BRS, emphasizing the party’s efficacy in combating BJP’s influence and advocating for a political landscape centered around Chief Minister KCR.
