BSF seize Rs 2Cr drug money from Amritsar

Jalandhar: The Border Security Force (BSF) personnel have seized a sum of Rs 2 crore in drug money from the border area of Amritsar district.

A spokesperson of the BSF headquarters of the Punjab Frontier here on Wednesday said that on a specific in put, BSF officers in coordination with the Punjab police conducted a raid at a house of a suspected drug trafficker. During their search operation, a sum of Rs 2 crore was recovered.

The search operation was still underway, he added.
