New Delhi: Members of Parliament from INDIA bloc, led by Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, will march from the Parliament House complex to the Nirvachan Sadan today at 11:30 am.
The march covering about a km is intended as a show of unity and a symbolic assertion of democratic rights, sources said.
Meanwhile, the Opposition has already sought time for the meeting with the Election Commissioners.
Later today, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge will also host a crucial dinner meeting for INDIA alliance leaders today.
The gathering will focus on discussions on several key issues, including the alleged “vote theft” by the Election Commission, the revision of the voters’ list in Bihar, and other pressing political concerns.
According to Congress sources, leaders from all parties of the INDIA alliance in both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, along with other prominent opposition alliance leaders, have been invited to the dinner hosted by Kharge.
The dinner will not be held at Kharge’s residence but at another venue to accommodate a larger number of attendees. There is also a possibility that the meeting will include strategy discussions on the Election Commission’s role in different parts of the country.
