Margao: The Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs) of Goa Forward Party (GFP) led by its President and Former Deputy Chief Minister Vijai Sardesai along with Independent MLA Rohan Khaunte met with the Governor of Goa Satyapal Malik with petition to the National Executive Committee to grant immediate permission to open Goa International Airport and Marmugao Port Trust (MPT) for repatriation of Goan seafarers.

Taking to social media platform, Vijai Sardesai, tweeted, “We have petitioned National Executive Committee (NEC) to grant immediate permission to open up the Goa International Airport at Dabolim & MPT for repatriation of Goan Seafarers and other NRGs stranded abroad and allow free home quarantine, as per the provisions of IHO Regulations.”
