New Delhi: The BJP on Saturday slammed Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over his silence on the videos in which AAP leader Satyendra Jain getting a massage inside the prison cell.

“Where is Kejriwal now … Why is he mum over Jain’ s video. It clearly showed that there is violation of the jail manual” said BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia here in a press conference.

He alleged that Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has become ‘Spa and Massage Party’, and gives shelter to the most corrupt people in it”.

“This VVIP culture in jail is dangerous for democracy,” Bhatia said

“Corruption is rampant in the Aam Aadmi Party. “You created the party to combat corruption, and end VVIP culture. But here, a corrupt person is getting all the facilities,” he alleged.

BJP Delhi president Adesh Gupta demanded the resignation of Satyendra Jain and said why Kejriwal kept him as minister despite being in jail.

AAP had earlier dismissed the allegations of Jain getting VIP treatment, calling them “absurd and baseless”.

Responding to the video, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that Satyendar Jain was injured while in jail and is getting treatment.

The video comes just days after the Superintendent of Tihar Jail, Ajit Kumar, was suspended for alleged VIP treatment of the jailed minister.

Satyendra Jain is facing an Enforcement Directorate probe linked to the 16 crore money laundering case, after the CBI filed FIR on August 17 under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
