Amaravati Inner RR scam case : AP CID police serve notice to TDP MLC Nara Lokesh

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh CID police officials have served a notice to TDP National General Secretary and party MLC Nara Lokesh asking him to appear before them on October 4 in connection with the Amaravati Inner Ring Road (IRR) Alignment Scam Case.

Official sources here on Saturday said that the AP CID police served notice to Nara Lokesh, son of former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, directing him to appear before them at the office located in Mangalagiri near here on next Thursday.

The CID police served the notice to Nara Lokesh under section 41A of CrPC.

The TDP MLC is presently in New Delhi to pursue TDP National President and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’ SLP in the Supreme Court against the dismissal of his quash petition by the Andhra Pradesh High Court in the skill development scam case.

The ACB Court here extended the judicial remand of Naidu in the case till October 5 and is currently lodged in the Rajahmundry Central Jail.
