Ambush on Meitei Leepun chief in Manipur, escapes unhurt

Imphal: Unidentified armed miscreants ambushed the vehicle of Meitei Leepun Chief Pramod on Friday at Langol, Imphal West; however, he was not hit.

Police said the armed persons who came in the car waylaid the vehicle of Pramod and fired six rounds.

There were six bullet marks on the vehicle of Pramod, who was traveling alone with his driver. Luckily, both of them were not injured. Police have started a probe into the incident.
