Goa to go under lockdown due to rising positive COVID-19 cases

Panjim: Goa, a state that had been a Green Zone for a long time while the rest of the nation experienced a surge in COVID-19 cases is now once again going to go under a lockdown due to the rising cases of positive COVID-19.

Goa government has decided to impose Janta Curfew from today 8 pm to 6 am till 10th August in view of rising Covid-19 cases , only medical services to be allowed, revealed the Chief Minister of Goa, Dr Pramod Sawant.

Dr Sawant further stated, “Goa to go for three-day lockdown from Friday to Monday early morning in view of rising Covid-19 cases.”

Goa has so far reported 2753 positive COVID-19 cases. 1128 are active cases and 1607 are recovered cases. 18 deaths have been reported.
