United Nations: Hungary and the United States have agreed to bring bilateral ties to a “golden age,” Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto told RIA Novosti.
“We have agreed that we rebuild the relationship in a way that it will bring the new golden age for the bilateral relations between US and Hungary,” Szijjarto said in an interview.
The “reconstruction” of bilateral relations between the United States and Hungary is anticipated to involve an agreement to prevent double taxation, Szijjarto said.
As part of the effort to rebuild relations with Hungary, Washington will also remove the restrictions that the Biden administration imposed on Hungarians under its visa waiver program, the minister added.
