Srinagar: Security forces arrested a militant of the radical Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGuH) here, the Jammu and Kashmir Police said on Thursday.

Junaid Ahmad Parray of Nawakadal was arrested by the police and Army. A pistol, magazine and live rounds were recovered from him, a police spokesman said.

The arrest comes almost two weeks after two local militants of AGuH were killed in a gun battle at Nowgam on Srinagar’s outskirts.
