Preparation has been completed to hold W-20 of G-20 meet in Aurangabad

Aurangabad: The Woman 20 Group of G-20 countries on women and child development is meeting in Aurangabad on February 27 and 28.

In the background of this visit, the beautification work of the city has reached its final stage. Guardian Minister of the district Sandipan Bhumre reviewed the beautification work done in the city on last evening.

According to the sources, more than 150 representatives will attend this meeting, and all these representatives are likely to start entering the city from February 26 onwards.

Union Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani will inaugurate this meeting.

Union Minister of State for Finance Dr Bhagwat Karad will be present as the Chief Guest at the inaugural function of the meeting which is being chaired by Dr Sandhya Purecha, President of W-20 and President of Sangeet Natak Akademi.

In this two-day meeting of the W-20 group, the five main topics including women leadership in rural areas, women entrepreneurship, bridging the gender gap, role of women and girls in environmental change, direction of women development through education and skill development, will be discussed in six different sessions.

After the seminars on the second day of the meeting, all the delegates will visit the heritage sites of Aurangabad area including Ellora Caves among other sites.
