CM face to be unveiled post polls:Yediyurappa

He also indicated about almost all sitting MLAs getting a ticket except four to six to contest assembly polls this year. “Most of the sitting MLAs will be given tickets except four to six MLAs,” he said when he was asked whether sitting MLAs will get tickets.

Asked whether BJP is planning to get leaders from other parties and induct them into the BJP ahead of polls, Yediyurappa said one who wants to quit, they can go happily and others wanting to join BJP, they are welcome.

Replying to a query that people may distance themselves from the BJP, for he is no more a CM’s face, Yediyurappa said in the negative and claimed that there has been a huge response for the party wherever he is travelling.

“Large people are gathering in our rallies. Going by this, I am confident that the BJP will win 140 seats and return to power with a clear majority. No one can stop it,” he said.
