Death toll from Syria’s earthquake tops 1,250: Health Ministry

Cairo: The Syrian Health Ministry said on Wednesday that the death toll from the deadly earthquake in Syria has risen to 1,250, and 2,054 people have been injured.

“Syrian Health Minister Hassan al-Ghabbash said during a visit [to Latakia] that the death toll had risen to 1,250 and the number of injured to 2,054,” the ministry said in a statement.
