Nitish instructs to fill vacant posts of home & general administration Dept

Patna: with an aim to tone up the administration and law and order situation, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday directed the authorities to fill the vacancies in home and general administration department and initiate the process at earliest.

Reviewing the progress of general administration and home department here, Kumar instructed the authorities of home and general administration department to asses the vacancies and initiate the process to fill them.

He said for disposal of the matters in better manner separate wings of law order and investigation have been set up at every police station.

Kumar said that arrangements have been made for imparting better training to the police personal and police officers.

Reiterating his efforts towards development of the state Kumar said that he was striving for an over all development of the state since he came to power. The state registered immense progress and the business has increased . The budget of the state has also increased to more than Rs 2 lakh crore.

Speaking about the development of infrastructures the Chief Minister said that government buildings, roads, bridges and culverts have been constructed and all the new government installations were also being maintained properly.

During the meeting additional chief secretary home department Chaitanya Prasad apprised the Chief Minister with the latest strength of police personnel and sanctioned posts on which appointments have to be made.

Principle Secretary General Administration Department B Rajendra and planning and development department additional chief secretary Arunesh Chawla also apprised the chief minister about the progress of their respective departments.
