NIA arrests Myanmar national from Jammu

Jammu: The sleuths of National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday arrested one Myanmar national from the Bhatindi area here.

Official sources said that multiple raids were conducted across Jammu and Kashmir in connection with terror links.

As part of the raids, Myanmar national was arrested from slum housing of illegal immigrants.

He was arrested with a case related to violation of the Passports Act and human trafficking, they said.

“The raids were in progress and more details are awaited,” sources added.
