Moscow: Russia and the United States are unlikely to begin negotiations on Ukraine until the diplomatic missions of the two countries resume full operation, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Sputnik.

“It’s unlikely,” Peskov said when asked to comment whether it was possible.

A Russian-US meeting dedicated to the problems of the embassies in Moscow and Washington was held on February 27 in Istanbul.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said that the parties had touched upon issues related to Russia’s diplomatic property in the United States in the context of the return of six real estate properties “illegally seized in the period 2016-2018” to the Russian side.
