Moscow: Ukraine will not participate in the talks between US and Russian delegations, scheduled to be held in Saudi Arabia on Sunday, The Guardian newspaper reported, citing Ukrainian presidential adviser Mykhailo Podolyak.

Podolyak admitted that it will be necessary to wait for the results of the telephone conversation between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to find out when further talks involving Ukraine will take place, the report said on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, US National Security Advisor Mike Waltz said that he had a conversation with Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov regarding an upcoming meeting between US and Russian technical teams in Riyadh, where they will discuss a potential ceasefire in Ukraine.
