Security was heightened at the Jammu Tawi Railway Station on Thursday after Border Security Force (BSF) personnel intercepted a pigeon, allegedly carrying a threat note, near the international border in the RS Pora sector.

The pigeon, caught about 40 kilometers away from Jammu, had a chit tied to its claw, that carried a warning of an IED blast at the Jammu Tawi Railway Station in the days to come.

The threat, in the portion written in Urdu, stated, ‘Kashmir is ours; the time has come, it will come.’ While in English, the note said, ‘Jammu Station IED Blast THE END.’
