Hyderabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reiterated the Central government’s commitment to the welfare of the farmers.

Replying to a post by Telangana Member of Parliament from Nizamabad Arvind Dharmapuri, regarding benefits of establishment of National Turmeric Board that the Prime Minister announced on Sunday, Modi on Monday posted on X :

“The well-being and prosperity of our farmers has always been our top priority.

By establishing the National Turmeric Board, we aim to harness the potential of our turmeric farmers and give them the support they rightly deserve.

The benefits for Nizamabad are particularly immense.

We will keep doing whatever it takes to ensure a brighter future for our turmeric farmers.”

Yesterday, in my speech at the @BJP4Telangana rally in Mahbubnagar, I emphasised on how the BRS Government is cheating the farmers of the state while it is BJP which is working to empower the farmers.

BRS and Congress, both dynastic parties, are only working to further corruption and commission, the PM tweeted today.

In a post on X yesterday, Arvind Dharmapuri said A Landmark Moment for Farmers!

Today, PM Shri @narendramodi Ji’s announcement of the National Turmeric Board is a testament to BJP’s commitment to uplift the lives of farmers in Telangana, especially in Nizamabad. This move will revolutionize turmeric farming, ensuring fair prices and global recognition.

Turmeric isn’t just a crop, it’s an integral part of our culture, used for health, culinary and religious purposes. Its demand surged during the pandemic for its immune-boosting properties. The Turmeric Board addresses this, supporting both farmers and consumers.

The Turmeric Board, from sowing to harvest, marketing to export, will be a game-changer for our farmers. It ensures their hard work is duly rewarded, fostering prosperity and securing our agricultural legacy for generations to come.

With deep gratitude, we express our profound gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji for this historic step. His vision and dedication to farmers will be remembered through generations. The National Turmeric Board is a beacon of hope for Telangana’s agricultural community!, he added.
